The International Standard Serial Number is similar to ISBN except that it is used to identify serial publications. ISSN barcode have the prefix of "977".

Using this Barcode Manually

The ISSN barcode uses a Parity table to generate the barcode and the calculation of the barcode font characters involves certain amount of complexity. It is thus recommended to use the Barcode Maker or Excel Add In to generate the barcodes instead of creating them manually.
